Jennifer

Jennifer is a prior IATP customer who has worked closely with IATP’s Fast Track who recently benefited from our Makers program regarding keyboard access.

Jennifer has difficulty with selection on a keyboard without hitting the wrong buttons. She was referred to the Makers program by an Assistive Tech Specialist (ATS) to design and fabricate a keyguard that does not already commercially exist.

The Royal Klunge 61 keyboard is being provided to Jennifer through our Fast Track program. This style keyboard is a small, portable keyboard that will benefit her needs, but there is no known keyguard that exists already. The Makers fabricated several versions of the keyguard until it was proved compatible with the keyboard due to its unique design. This attached keyguard will help Jennifer be able to locate the correct keys when typing in the future.
