WHY FABRICATION?

Manufactured products may not be the best solution due to design features (i.e., materials, weight, strength, adjustability, sizing, complexity, options, etc.) and/or cost effectiveness. An individual is often left trying to accommodate their specific need by modifying an existing device. The ICAT AT fabrication project provides a consumer-directed, collaborative process of design and development to meet individualized needs.

All developed products will be open source and available through the ICAT website.
